He was President of the All India Granites & Stone Association for 12 years, and was the key person in organizing the highly successful International Stone Fairs - STONA. Mr. Poddar has attended numerous international fairs and conferences worldwide, is a member of many government and semi-government committees, advisory panels and mineral-based industrial organizations.
