ABRASIVES

SURIE POLEX is the pioneer and even now the clear market leaders in mirror finish floor polishing products in India. Our thorough and guaranteed seven-step system of grinding and polishing of floors to achieve glossy floors of natural stone has lead to a minor revolution in the floor polishing market.

Of late our abrasives for mosaic floor (chips flooring, cast-in-situ, terrazzo flooring) are bringing long-awaited relief to the floor polishing community with fast cutting, long life abrasives which do not require the addition of sand to achieve grinding.

Of special mention are the "5X" and "6G" finishing abrasives for the marble and granite segment respectively. These products embellish the gloss and final look of natural stone.

MACHINES

SURIE POLEX is the original designer and manufacturer of the currently fashionable "English" floor-polishing machine. We have been continuously introducing innovations into this market segment reducing the cost of operating and maintaining floor polishing machines to such an extent that these so-called "English" machines have now even found acceptance for conventional grinding and polishing.

GRANITE FLOOR POLISHER is our latest addition to floor polishing solutions. This is the ideal machine for regaining gloss on old granite floors. It is also suitable for hard stones/marbles, such as Majoli and Mandana, which are now coming into the Indian Market. This machine obviates the need for diamond grinding stones (which are expensive) and does the job at one-fourth of the cost with conventional abrasives. The polishing speed is also very fast.

CLEANERS

Maintenance is a natural outcome of Polishing. To this end we have introduced cleaners for Flooring, Bathrooms, Kitchens, Tiles, Taps and Flooring. We provide high quality solutions at a competitive price.

RESINS/FILLERS

A central issue facing the stone industry is joints between stone slabs and filling of cracks and pores. We provide the entire range of transparent to darkening resins for all kinds of stones.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

We have our in house Research & Development Program. Our technology has been fully developed by Mr. Aaloke Surie, a Mechanical Engineer from IIT-Mumbai, with a post-graduate degree in machine tools from Aachen University of Germany. SURIE POLEX is not dependent on technology on any outside agency. We have thus been able to systematically grow substantially in production terms every year. With each increase we have been able to absorb all inflationary cost increases by improvement of process, productivity and reducing overheads per unit of production. This process is an unending one and forms the central statute to the SURIE POLEX work ethic
