Quarries
The company owns and operates a large Jet Black Granite Quarry in Chamrajnagar spread over a huge area of over 10 acres. The quarry has large, proven deposits of world-class 'Absolute Black' quality granite. The mining operations are being carried out in a fully mechanized manner using modern technology, sophisticated quarrying and material handling equipments to ensure optimum and regular production of dimensional granite blocks. Our other captive granite quarries are spread all over South India which includes Pudukottai, Chittoor, Krishnagiri and Warangal.

Factory
Our processing unit is in Dharampuri, Tamil Nadu spread over in a sprawling complex of 8 acres. We are well equipped to manufacture granite slabs and tiles in precise dimensions, excellent polish and perfect finish. We offer granite in polished, flamed and honed finishes.

We have specialized modern machines using state-of-the-art technology for manufacturing high class monuments in granites. Backed by our own Jet Black quarry, facilitating the use of selected, flawless 'Absolute Black' granite in the required sizes, our range and quality of monuments are truly unmatched.

Products
Our specialty products are the granite monuments and memorials created by our trained, experienced artisans in our own sophisticated manufacturing unit. The monuments are made in exclusive custom-made designs for different countries. We are producing all the European, UK and USA designs in Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Violet and Multicolor granites. Our range of artifacts and stone-crafts include fireplace, balustrades, wash basin, pillars, vase, table tops and counter tops etc.

We are producing a wide range of export quality granites, sandstones, limestones and slates in the form of slabs, cut to size and tiles. While the granites are from South India, the sandstones, limestones and slates are procured from quarries in Rajasthan, Haryana and South India. Our total product range exceeds over 50 internationally popular qualities in all the different types of natural stones procured from the selected quarries spread all over India. In short, we are a one-stop for all natural stones.

Exports
Over the years, Granite India has earned a high degree of credibility with its broad clientele base and earned its reputation as a reliable and dependable supplier. About 80% of our turnover comprises of exports to various countries which include USA, Ireland, Italy, South Africa, Germany, China and France. Our annual export turnover is US$ 4 million.

We have received Awards for 'Outstanding Export Performance' for the years 1997-98 and 1998-99 from the Ministry of Commerce.
