He was the only Indian entrepreneur to be honoured by the Government
of India with a SPECIAL AWARD on the occasion of the celebration of
the 50th Anniversary of India's Independence for his contribution
in the field of mining & marketing of granite.

Today Gem is using most modern imported machines at their quarries to maintain International Standard. Established in quarrying & mining for over 30 years, Gem has over 150 quarries of their own and a few more are in the pipeline.
GEM GRANITES through their own research and survey has identified unique granite deposits in provinces of India. Many granite varieties were found explored and have exclusive trademarks. Some of the branded colors are: New Imperial Red, New Mahogany, Oyster Pearl, Lavendar Blue, Bahama Blue, Q4 Black, Imperial White, Tropical Green, Golden Dragon and Diana Green, just to name a few
