Started in the year 1987 under the name and style of "NATIONAL GRANITES" at ILKAL, in Bagalkot District, Karnataka, India, it has paved its way to success in the granite field by sheer dedication to the pursuit of quality granite materials, adding ancillaries to it over the decade and to its present status by the name DOLPHIN INTERNATIONAL, a name to reckon with in granite industry today.

The four Granite Quarries measuring about 60acres in extent and situated in Purthagere & Kadur Villages, close to Ilkal town, Karnataka, India, are rich in deposits of PG. RED, KADUR RED (K.R. RED), & A.M. RED Granites.

More than 300CBM of granite blocks are quarried out every month with the help of sophisticated and state of the art Earthmoving Equipments such as Excavators, Compressors, Rock Drillers & Tippers etc., and technically qualified manpower working round the clock in full swing for quarrying operations.

In addition to being dedicated to QUARRYING & EXPORTING OF INDIAN RED ROUGH GRANITE BLOCKS named above, it has also been very active in other fields of granite industry such as INSPECTION, QUALITY CONTROL, TRADING & EXPORT OF VARIETIES OF OTHER COLOURS OF INDIAN ROUGH GRANITE BLOCKS such as BLUE, BLACK, BROWN, GREEN, YELLOW, MULTICOLOUR AND PORPHYRY to name a few, procuring the same from all parts of India.

Dolphin International along with two other international partners has been the backbone for quality control of rough granite blocks supplied to Taiwan and China from India and able to achieve monthly procurements of more than 1500 CBM of almost all the types and colours of Indian rough granite blocks.

Equipped with latest office automation and proficient manpower to assist the smooth day to day operations of the company and more than 150 employees dedicated to production catering to the efficient quarrying operations to meet customer's timely needs.

Management Profile

Under the able and experienced management of three Partners namely, Mr Badrinath V Kandkur, Mr Subhash M Harihar and Mr Manjunath V Kandkur, who are pioneers in the field of granite backed up by their 15 years of rich experience in the granite industry having in-depth knowledge of innumerable varieties of granite and international quality standards of granites gained by close association with the customers of countries like Taiwan, China, Italy who are known for their sound quality standards, their constant feedback as well as by self awareness and the assistance of proficient administrative and skilled technical staff, Dolphin International has been able to achieve the Name, Fame and Success it enjoys today. It is manned by nearly 170 employees to carry out the day to day quarrying and exporting operations efficiently to meet its customer's needs.

Granite Quarries

Knowing fully well the importance of Quality and Quantity for success in the granite industry, Dolphin is not only Quality conscious but also equipped with the latest technology equipments for the consistent and efficient quarrying of its materials to meet the requirements of its customers.

The quantity produced on an average every month is 300 CBM of which 80% is of Gangsaw size - 240cms x 140cms x 100 cms above and the remaining 20% is of Smaller size. Both big and small size blocks are being exported to Taiwan, China and Italy.
