COMPANY

Ber-Oner Mining Inc. is a mining company producing non-ferrous metals such as zinc, lead and copper since 1987. It has become a leading company in the sector with its activities spreading, not only all over Turkey but abroad as well, since 2001.

Ber-Oner Mining Company decided to enter into the Turkish Marble Industry in 1999, and started processing after completing the Marble Plant

In Diyarbakỳr organized Industrial Zone by the end of 2001. Head office is in Istanbul. Since the building process of the plant and still Ber-Oner is continuing its researches and improvements in this field.

BER-ONER, like its all other activities, now aims at rendering the same high quality service in the marble sector it newly entered. The target is to contribute to the Country's growing economy, by expanding to the world, and becoming a Turkish company with a brand name in the marble industry, an industry where its resources are regarded as the Country's eternal richness.

QUARRIES

BER-ONER Marble and Travertine quarries are spread all over Turkey from east to west, each covering vast areas with locations in various parts of Anatolia. The quarries close to the Processing Plant are situated in Diyarbakir, Elazig, Urfa, Kayseri regions.

From these quarries Beige, Pink, cherry and Travertines are being produced. In the western regions the productions are Verde Giada in Usak, the Crystalline Pink in Denizli, the Red Milas in Marmara region.

BER-ONER Marble Quarry machines are all supplied by Benetti. The machines used in the mines and Works are Volvo and Caterpillar.

As an expending Company with a wide vision we are and will always continue our researches in quarrying all over Turkey.

FACTORY

The 75th. Year marble processing plant in Diyarbakỳr Organized Industrial Zone is covering 280.000 m2 open and 8.000 m2 covered area has now started operating.

BER-ONER Marble Plant, with a capacity of 350.000 m2 production in 2002, is planned and designed to allow further expansion to produce 650.000 m2 of Slabs and Tiles in 2003.

The Slab Line consists of two 80 lama Gang Saws-18 Head Slabs Polishing Line- one Bridge Cutter and one 'Montresor' Side Polisher.

The Tile Line consists of three Multi-disc Block cutters, one 'Guglielmi' 6 Bladed Horizontal Splitter- a 3+3 Calibre 14 Head Filler Tile Polisher- 8 Bladed Multi Cutter and Side Polishing Machines all of which are supplied by PEDRINI of Italy.

In addition to this configuration one 'Benetti' 735 Narrow Belt has also installed and by the end of July 2002 a Cement Travertine filling line and a 45 societa 'Elettromeccanica' epoxy- filling line has been completed.
