Barsanti has been constructing machines for the processing of marble, granite and related natural stones since 1898.

It is currently able to offer a complete range of machines for the transformation of the original stone slab into the finished product; including frames, slab-cutters, polishing lines, automatic cutting lines, gauging devices, chamfering machines, milling machines as well as more specialized machinery.

Thanks to the years of experience in the design of such machines, they are guaranteed to ensure the highest levels of performance at limited operating costs.

"BARSANTI" technology also boasts certain highly advanced patent designs and technological solutions such as: interchangeable blade-holder panel used on granite frames, the largest granite frame with 2 connecting rods complete with automatic extension system, new surface gauging and polishing systems featuring spinning movement, as well as ultra-fast marble frames.

Management

In order to deal with the many diverse aspects with which the company is called on to tackle, it is essential to have a flexible Administrative Management with the versatility to face all the various problems as they occur.

The Administrative Management therefore is not just concerned with book-keeping and checking accounts.

Thanks to its highly dynamic personnel structure it is also able to intervene in relations between sales office and client in order to provide a consultancy service for the resolution of financial and legal issues relating to contract conditions.

Therefore ensuring that the customer is guaranteed a fully comprehensive and mutually satisfactory service.

Projecting

Innovation and experience are the two fundamental concepts on which the philosophy of our company and our planning office is based.

Making use of highly modern and efficient planning instruments used by the highly experienced and skilled personnel in the field. The planning office deals with the requests coming from the marketing and management offices; developing and perfecting the required products according to established timeframes, applying innovative concepts and ideas to their realization.

The planning office works with the technical assistance and production offices in order to continually monitor any problems which may emerge in the field and in order to be able to provide a fast and efficient solution by direct intervention in the design stage or in relation to the suppliers themselves.

The resulting know-how obtained is in itself a fundamental guarantee of the quality and reliability which Barsanti provides with its machinery.

Programming

The programming department receives the orders coming from the sales office and then draws up a relative production programme which it then sends to the production office.

In carrying out this function the programming department also carries out the following functions - resource management according to the order books so as to ensure that the best use is made of the available resources - external resource management (subcontractors) according to the demands on the available resources; checking of incoming material flows (raw materials, semi-processed materials) and on exit (finished products).

Marketing

The Sales Department is made up of a group of highly specialized area managers operating all over the world.

The group is co-ordinated by the Company Management with which it draws up the strategic policies to be adopted according to current market conditions.

Each area manager is technically independent and is able to deal with the various problems relating to stone processing, and works independently within the area for which he is responsible, and directly, or through an intermediary, handles relations with clients in the various stages of the client-supplier relationship.

This, in practice, means that the initial approach and finalization stages is backed up by a much longer and more involved stage of customer support in relation to all the technical problems which may emerge. In this way the Area Manager becomes a liaison link between the customer himself and the various company activities involved.

Production

Production is undertaken within an extensive and totally new industrial infrastructure complex, using numeric control machinery which guarantees a high level of product quality constancy through time.

Barsanti production capacity is extremely flexible thanks also to its clever use of its subcontractors, which are all highly specialized and carefully selected for their high quality standards.

The final assembly stage of each individual machine is always undertaken by teams of skilled personnel which undertakes an inspection at the end of the assembly stage in order to ensure conformity with relative technical specifications. In the case of machines which are to form part of a larger production system, a pre-assembly operation will be undertaken in order to check function whilst operating empty so as to ensure a correct start-up at the customer's premises.

Testing

The Technical Assistance office works to provide the customer with all the assistance and consultancy that he requires during the assembly and starting up stages and in subsequent stages of the operational life of the system.

The main objective being to ensure maximum customer satisfaction by means of a rapid and effective solution to all the problems that may arise.

This is thanks to the high degree of professionalism of the personnel of the Assistance Department who make it their job to talk to the customer so as to be sure of getting all the necessary information.

Should direct intervention be necessary, the Technical Assistance Department makes use of a highly skilled group of technicians who are on-call all over the world wherever Barsanti is present.
