Pneumatic Block Pushers, or Air Bags, as they are also commonly called, are very useful for use in the stone quarries. Pneumatic Block Pushers are basically used for shifting and tilting 'banks' in the stone quarries. Pneumatic Block Pushers comprise of pillows of metal or specialized rubber. After the initial cutting is executed on the stone face by diamond wire saw plant, the Pneumatic Block Pushers are applied. Upon starting the equipment, the bags are filled with air. The inflated bags of the pneumatic Block Pushers impart thrust on the cut 'bank' resulting in its shifting and upturning. The Air Bags of the Pneumatic Block Pushers are of different sizes to suit the different applications. The Pneumatic Block Pushers are having different thrust capacities. The Air Bags of the Pneumatic Block Pushers are used singly, in series or in multiples, depending on the size of the 'bank' to be tilted. The pneumatic Block Pushers are designed for simultaneous operation of up to three pillows. The Pneumatic Block Pushers are generally used in the stone quarries when cutting is carried out by diamond sawing or a chain saw machine.
