Calibrating Discs/wheels are used for improving the uneven surface of a natural stone slab/tile. Prior to the polishing of the slab/tile, it is calibrated by a Calibrating Machine fitted with calibrating discs/wheels. Lateral calibration and level correction is executed by means of the calibrating disc/wheel. Continuous research in the diamond tool technology has resulted in the development of calibrating discs, wheels and rollers in many shapes and different bonds. The most commonly used calibrating discs/wheels are diamond segmented. Segment Cup wheels for calibration, metal bonded wheels for beveling and edge polishing cup wheels are a few examples of the different types of calibrating discs/wheels.
